Dr. Carlos Martinez

Dr. Carlos Martinez holds a Doctorate in Human and Organizational Psychology and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Touro University Worldwide, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Phoenix.

Carlos served as an Adjunct Instructor at George Fox University for 3 years, bringing academic instruction and leadership to psychology and mental health studies.

With over 20 years of active law-enforcement experience, crisis response, and behavioral-health leadership, Carlos has assisted in managing large federal grants in his full-time law enforcement career—bringing rigorous financial accountability, compliance oversight, and program governance to Beach Cities Frontline Foundation.

Linda brings a rich, diverse professional background spanning customer service and field services for local utilities, real estate, early childhood education, and extensive non-profit volunteer leadership.

A mom extraordinaire—and the one who keeps Carlos in line—Linda focuses on BCFF's Frontline Family Resilience initiatives, equipping parents to repair their own home first and restore connection at the dinner table.

Dr. Isabella Vidriales, EdD, LCSW

Dr. Isabella Vidriales is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in California, Arizona, and Nevada, holding a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology (Ed.D.) from Argosy University and a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from California State University, Long Beach School of Social Work.

With over 15 years of clinical psychotherapy experience, Dr. Vidriales worked as a co-response clinician alongside law enforcement, partnering directly with officers in the field during behavioral-health crises.

She brings deep cultural competence in military and first responder communities, guiding BCFF to ensure its crisis response and peer support programs remain clinically responsible, trauma-informed, and culturally grounded.

Gabriel Campos earned his Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from California State University, Los Angeles School of Social Work, bringing specialized social-work training supporting adolescents, teens, and frontline families.

As Youth Services Director, he helps BCFF consider the unique needs of teens and adolescents affected by family stress, public-safety careers, trauma, and recovery.

His perspective supports the development of age-appropriate services, teen engagement, and community-based youth resilience initiatives.

Martini is Dr. Carlos Martinez's task-trained Service Dog, trained through Veterans & First Responders Service Dog Training (VFR).

A Miniature Schnauzer with an enormous spirit, Martini is task-trained for medical alert, leg-shaking interruption, nail-picking alerts, and standing watch in public spaces.

She serves as BCFF's founding K9 partner and living proof of the transformative power of task-trained service dogs for first responders.
